Especial (“Special”): Hotels with a special ambience – historic palaces, monasteries, haciendas or beach hotels with exceptional charm. Perfect for the classic cultural tour.
Extraordinario (“Extraordinary”): Luxurious hotels in excellent locations and with the highest level of comfort, often in centuries-old aristocratic palaces, old oil mills or haciendas.
Luna de Miel (“honeymoon”): For the honeymoon – span. Luna de miel – or if you want to treat yourself to something out of the ordinary …

Experience culture
On this 8-day round trip through Apulia, you can look forward to its almost 4,000-year-old capital. Today, the old town is located on the headland, which was already inhabited before the actual city of Bari. With the Castello and the labyrinth of small alleyways, it is also the Apulians’ attitude to life turned to stone: friendly, warm and open. The small shops and cafés are at home here.
On the other hand, art and culture fans are in good hands in the elegant Neustadt district. Perhaps you would like to visit the Theatro Petruzzelli. It not only offers great performances. The building, which dates back to 1903, is also one of the largest private theatres in Italy.
If you love paintings, the Pinacoteca Metropolitana di Bari is the place to be. Its collections include art from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. However, there is a special work of art just a short distance from Bari: the majestic, octagonal Castel del Monte, which takes you back to the 13th century and the time of the Hohenstaufen Emperor Frederick II.
Experience nature
Apulia is known for its rustic cuisine and good olive oil. The olives for this oil grow in the groves, which you can explore on this 8-day round trip around the towns. What’s more, the sea is never far away on this wonderful route.
Apulia has almost 800 kilometres of coastline – enough space for wide sandy beaches and small, secret and often very private bays. So why not come to the beach and relax after your city adventure?
Apulia - Mediterranean delight
Diversity can also be found in the regional cuisine of Apulia. Freshly caught fish and seafood can of course be found on almost all menus, while meat dishes dominate inland. However, there are also numerous dishes with fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, fennel, broccoli or cime di rapa, the slightly bitter-tasting stem cabbage.
In the narrow streets of Bari, you can look over the shoulders of the women working here on your tour of Puglia and see how orecchiette, the little ear-shaped pasta, is made in front of their own front door. What baguettes are to the French, taralli are to the Pugliese – baked dough curls that are served almost everywhere for dinner.
As in the rest of Italy, cheese is also made in Apulia. Whether it’s canestrato, cacioricotta, straciatella, which is similar to mozzarella, or burrata… Leave it up to your palate to decide and also which wine it likes best with it.
