Individual tours
Sicily 2024 & 2025
“What fascinates me most about Sicily are the contrasts: The roaring force of nature of Mount Etna has given the surrounding region incredibly fertile soils. A little further inland, the roads wind their way through often somewhat barren landscapes. In between, there are small, tranquil villages – and finally the typical Italian old towns, which are slightly dilapidated but would lose all their charm if they were renovated.
I would like to share my enthusiasm for this very Sicily with you and bring you closer to the unique Sicilian way of life. The best way to discover this is to visit places that are sometimes rather inconspicuous at first glance and that you won’t find in the illustrated books.”
Of course, your round trip to Sicily can also start right on your doorstep. When travelling by your own car, we also plan and organise the route and accommodation for your individual trip through the transit countries according to your wishes.

Discover Sicily
Cultural diversity in Sicily
Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean, has attracted numerous foreign conquerors throughout its history, who have left clearly visible traces. Many of these remains have been preserved to this day. In addition to Greek temples such as those in Syracuse, Agrigento, Selinunte and Segesta, Roman villas with mosaics can also be found on the island.
There are also numerous churches and monasteries to discover, such as Monreale or the Norman Cathedral. The sophisticated baroque palaces in Noto, Ragusa or Modica reveal worldly splendour, forming a wonderful contrast to the enchanting mountain villages where time seems to have stood still.
Romantic coastal towns and lively harbour cities such as the island’s capital Palermo or Catania make your tour of Sicily an unforgettable experience.
Sicily's treasures of nature
Sicily’s landscapes are as rich in contrast as its culture. In addition to more than 1,000 kilometres of coastline, there are nature and national parks, species-rich forest mountains such as the Madonie Mountains, the Nebrodi Park, the Zingaro Nature Reserve and, of course, the national park around Etna, which is a wonderful place to hike and relax.
The almond, lemon and orange groves are colourful and fragrant and the typical Mediterranean maquis invite you to make short stops to enjoy nature to the full on your tour of Sicily.
Sicily's culinary delights
The culinary history of Sicily is complex. The influence of numerous cultures can still be seen in the dishes today – the result of numerous foreign dominations. Pasta, olive oil, cheese, wine and confectionery are a natural part of the menu, as they are throughout Italy.
The traces of diverse traditions can still be felt everywhere here. For example, couscous, which originated with the Arabs, is served with fish. Almonds, honey, pine nuts and sultanas are not only used in confectionery, but also in pasta dishes. Rice, exotic spices, peppers and potatoes – products introduced from the New World – are also an integral part of Sicilian cuisine. Travelling through Sicily is therefore also a culinary journey through its history.
