Leyendas – Legends
Legends are an integral part of Spain. Rock formations, unhappy lovers, mysterious finds… There are countless stories that combine faith and superstition. Romantic tales, horror stories and miracle stories exist in every little town in Spain.
The seriousness with which the legends are portrayed suggests that the truthfulness of the legends is not one hundred per cent in doubt. Historically verifiable events, fantasy and the Spaniards’ love of the supernatural have led to this large pool of legends.
Lidia
Lidia is a term from the vocabulary of bullfighting. It refers to what happens between the moment the bull appears in the arena and its death.
